This is the quieter, less-developed side of the island — away from the crowds of Seminyak, Kuta, and Kerobokan, and closer in spirit to the rural Bali of rice terraces and traditional village life.

Ngurah Rai International Airport is approximately 30 kilometres from the resort — around 45 minutes by car depending on traffic. Airport transfers are not included in this package but can be arranged directly with the resort.

Ubud is approximately 30 minutes by car from the resort. The cultural heart of Bali, Ubud is well worth a day trip — the Monkey Forest, Tegallalang rice terraces, the art markets, and a strong dining scene are all within easy reach.

Keramas is best known for its dramatic black sand beach and world-class surf breaks — it regularly hosts international surfing competitions. Beyond the beach, the Gianyar Regency is rich in Balinese cultural heritage: traditional water temples, active rice farming villages, artisan craft communities, and proximity to some of the island's most significant temples, including Besakih. It offers a version of Bali that feels genuinely lived-in rather than built for tourism.

The resort's own Swan Restaurant is the primary dining option on-site and covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Keramas is a traditional village rather than a tourist strip, so the immediate area doesn't have a concentration of cafes and bars within walking distance. The resort's activity desk can advise on nearby options and arrange transport to restaurants in surrounding areas.

Keramas Beach is directly in front of the resort — a sweeping stretch of black volcanic sand best known for its surf. It's a striking beach for walks and watching the ocean, though the conditions that make it a world-class surf spot mean it's not suited to casual swimming. Sanur Beach, a calmer and more sheltered option, is approximately 30–40 minutes south by car.
