Karma Sawet is perched on the hillside above Mae Nam on Koh Samui's north coast, in the Surat Thani province of southern Thailand. The north coast is widely regarded as the quieter, more refined side of the island — less developed than Chaweng or Lamai, and well-positioned for exploring both the local village scene and the broader island.

Koh Samui International Airport is approximately 7.5km from the property — around a 15-minute drive. Complimentary airport pickup is included in your package.

Fisherman's Village in Bophut is roughly 10 minutes by car — one of the north coast's most popular evening destinations, with waterfront restaurants, boutique shopping, and a well-known Friday night walking market. The Big Buddha temple (Wat Phra Yai) is similarly close, around 10–15 minutes, and worth a morning visit. Chaweng, the island's main strip, is approximately 20–25 minutes away

Mae Nam is one of Koh Samui's longest and least-crowded beaches, popular with those who prefer a slower pace over the bustle of the east coast. The area has a strong local character — good street food, family-run restaurants, and a relaxed village atmosphere — while still offering easy access to the rest of the island. The north coast as a whole has become increasingly sought-after, with Bophut and Bang Por Beach among its standout spots.
